Fancy set of poker chips for birthday boy
One of my buddies had a barbecue for his birthday this weekend. He lives out of town and commutes in, so it was really nice to get out into the countryside and get some fresh air. His wife put on a fantastic spread which we all got stuck into. All the comments were flying about, reminiscing about the good old days etc…
It wasn’t long before we were challenged to a game of poker… guess who got a new set of fancy poker chips for his birthday? At first all the wives and girlfriends were not too enthusiastic in the beginning.. and there was the usual haggling over the poker rules..
.. and then they started to really get into it.. wow were they competitive! All the woman acted cool and innocent but actually they were out to win. Whether it was the thrill of winning the chips or just the competition, I don’t know, but boy was I surprised at how seriously they took the poker game!

Yeah funny how the women get all competitive at poker games and in the casino.
