Obama’s inauguration party gets going!
The inauguration of Barack Obama, the 44th president of the United States of America, will take place tomorrow in Washington. What a momentous occasion it will be. What a huge event, that is sure to be one big party! They say 2 million people will be there… wow… that’s awesome, what a turnout!
Isn’t it amazing what a hero he has become already, and he hasn’t even become the president yet! I wonder is it because the US needs a leader or is it because of who he is as a political leader.
Not to undo the incredible rise of Obama and his achievement. It is indeed a momentous occasion in history, to be remembered and recorded forever. It is incredible to think that slavery was abolished not so long ago, and now tomorrow the first black president will take office!
Actually the party has already begun with a free concert that took place on sunday afternoon. The crowds were entertained with some of the top entertainers, choosing songs that had real meaning for the historic event. Everyone got in on the act with songs, acts and speaches that made patriotic reference to all kinds of events and people.
Obama had some inspiring things to say to the nation – “Welcome to this celebration of American renewal,” probably sums it all up. America is hoping for renewal and revitalization – a breath of life, perhaps!
Enjoy the occasion Mr soon-to-be President, because once it is over the hangover of reality will soon kick in and you have one huge mess to clean up!
Oh and whilst you are at it, please could you change the internet gambling laws….

I thought the inauguration was amazing! Obama speaks so well, he is inspiring and I like the way he wants to unify America to work together – totally awesome!

Yeah change the gambling laws and get rid of UIGEA, its a waste of time.
